From our research, we uncovered that the Italian classic was in fact the the nation’s favourite takeaway and in an effort to give something a lil extra to consumers, giffgaff worked with Deliveroo to giveaway voucher codes to the tune of £17.65 (the average cost of a Margherita pizza), over on the mobile network’s Instagram.
The partnership with Deliveroo also involved tracked ad inclusion that delivered 1.87 million impressions, 5.2K clicks through to the giffgaff website in addition to 80k flyers sent from Deliveroo Edition kitchens and hops across a two week period.
Overall the campaign delivered 75 pieces of coverage and the competition received over 3,000 entries in the first 5 minutes which was the highest engagement EVER on a single giffgaff Instagram post.
