To celebrate the launch of Durex Nude - the brand’s most sensation-enhancing condom yet - we did something bold: we paid 50 people across the UK to have sex.
Why? Because research shows that lack of sensation is one of the biggest reasons people skip condoms. We wanted to prove that Durex Nude changes the game - so we let real people put it to the test for £100.
This campaign also came at an all-important time, with the government revealing a 24% rise in STIs in the UK, yet campaign research showed two thirds (62%) of sexually active UK singletons not or rarely using condoms.
Not only did the campaign generate 254k lifetime views, but the social post recruiting condom testers reached over 800k people, and out of the 50 people that tested the Nude condom, 95% rated it 5* and left a stellar review on the Durex website.
